Next Generation Storytellers has left a beneficial footprint in Hampton, Virginia. NGS Film Festival showcases the short films that Hampton City High School students shot over the first two weeks of summer vacation.
Trent Garrett and Jacob Young, both actors and producers in Hollywood, co-founded the NGS Film Festival with the objective of bridging the gap between Hollywood and the Hampton community.
By giving the next generation of storytellers a platform for their voices to be heard communities are incentivized to join in on the action.
