Debbie

Debbie is an accomplished nonprofit executive, grant strategist, and community leader with more than 40 years of experience securing funding, building strategic partnerships, and developing innovative programs that strengthen education and communities.

She currently serves as Grant Writer and Program Support for Hampton City Schools, where she has secured millions of dollars in grant funding to expand the Academies of Hampton and increase college and career opportunities for students. She also serves as Grant Writer for the Virginia Air & Space Center.

Previously, she spent more than two decades with the City of Hampton, where she was a founding leader of the nationally recognized Healthy Families initiative.

Throughout her career, she has secured millions in grant funding while advancing collaborative solutions that improve outcomes for children, families, schools, and communities.
